Generate a Product

In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of generating a product using ShopBot. We will use the same example as in the First Product Tutorial to maintain consistency.

Step 1: Access the Product list Page​

  1. Go to the ShopBot dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Products → Product List.
  3. Refresh the product list if you do not see your previously created product.
  4. Copy it's Product ID for later use.

Step 2: Generate the Product​

Go on your Discord server where ShopBot is installed and use the following command, replacing <ProductID> with the actual Product ID you copied earlier:

You need to have the ShopAdmin role (or equivalent permissions) to use this command. And make sure that ShopBot has permission to send messages in the channel where you run this command.

/generateproduct <ProductID>

Done ! ShopBot will generate the product in the channel where you ran the command.
