# Buying a Subscription

# First susbcription
# Discord Products Susbcriptions
Discord Products are products that allows you to buy roles from the server. Once bought the bot will give you the roles that are beeing sold by the product. If you dont renew your subscription, ShopBot will automaticaly remove the roles from you.
After that you have clicked on Buy ShopBot will ask you for a frequency, the frequency is the amont of time that you will add to your susbcription end date.
Example :
You are buying a product that have a daily base frequency (it means that the price setup for this product is for 1 day of subscription) and that cost 10€ and you select a weekly frequency, you will need to pay 70€ for this product (there is 7 days in a week so 7x10=70) and your susbscription and date will be one week from the moment you claim your product.
# Minecraft Products
Minecraft products are products that are directly connected to a minecraft server. The owner of the product can setup a maximum of 5 custom commands that can be executed at a base frequency.
After that you have clicked on Buy ShopBot will ask you for a frequency, the frequency is the amont of time that you will add to your susbcription end date.
Example :
You are buying a product that have a daily base frequency (it means that the price setup for this product is for 1 day of subscription) and that cost 10€ and you select a weekly frequency, you will need to pay 70€ for this product (there is 7 days in a week so 7x10=70) and your susbscription and date will be one week from the moment you claim your product. In the case of minecraft products, a daily base frequency also means that the product is given to you every day (at 1pm or at 1am depending on your activation time). To activate your product you just need to do /claim with your minecraft nickname and the product id that is specfied on the product message and on your checkout message.
WARNING
⚠️ The minecraft nickname that you enter in your /claim command will be registerd for ALL the command executions. You can change it with the /change-mc-sub-nick command buy specifying the product id of the subscription and your new minecraft nickname that will be used.
# Renewing an existing subscription
To renew a subscription, you simply need to buy and cliam the product again BEFORE the susbcription end date. After that you activated your renew (by just clicking on claim after buying the product) ShopBot will add the time that you have selected to your current subcription end date.
Example :
You renew a subscription of a product that have a weekly base frequency and a price of 10€, you decide to add not one week (so that would have cost 10€ since the price is 10€ for a week) but a month, so you will pay 40€ (4 weeks in a month so 4x10=40). After that you have bought your prdouct you will need to claim it to add the time to your current end date.

Here is the list of all usefull commands that concern ShopBot Subscription Products
